Easter celebrations

Easter is a joyful time of year at Fairfield when we follow traditions like Easter eggs, spring flowers, cards and church services. Easter is usually spent with families and so we make sure those residents not able to see their own families spend Easter with their Fairfield family.

PPPPick up a penguin

Fairfield residents love having visits from animals but never before have we had some penguins come to say hello! Penguins Pringles and Charlie have both been specially trained to work as therapy animals and happily enjoying being stoked and patted as well as sitting on laps and being cuddled.

Owl visit

Fairfield welcomed some unusual feathered visitors when we enjoyed a visit from Al's Owls as part of our busy activities programme. Alan Charlett of Al's Owls is a regular visitor to Fairfield residential care home and this time he brought in three of his hand-reared owls to show us.
