Fairfield is a residential home for elderly people, providing long-stay accommodation as well as dedicated rooms for short-stay respite care. Fairfield is registered with the regulatory body, the Care Quality Commission, as a residential home for the elderly rather than a nursing home. New residents will only be accepted if they do not require 24 hour nursing care. We acknowledge that the need for a higher level of assistance may develop over time and we endeavour to allow residents to remain with us by providing levels of care to suit each individual for as long as possible.
