Fairfield appoints a new manager to take them into their new home
We are delighted to announce that Debbie Hayes has been appointed Manager of Fairfield. Debbie has worked at Fairfield for 15 years, first as a night carer and then as Deputy Manager, so she knows Fairfield, the residents and their families, and all the staff very well.
Debbie said, “I am honoured that the Committee have asked me to step forward and take on the role of Manager. With their support and with our wonderful team of staff that makes Fairfield what it is today, I’m looking forward to taking our caring ethos into the new building.
I’m also excited at what we will be able to offer residents at new Fairfield the fantastic facilities and the increased range of activities. There will be lots of exciting but very positive changes for the staff team but they will continue to provide the, very skilful, person centred, care they show to our residents every day.”
The new Fairfield opens in June 2018 and will provide 40 en-suite bedrooms, some of which are suitable for couples. The new home will offer 24 hour residential and respite care for the actively elderly.
John Cole, chair of trustees added, “We are delighted that Debbie has accepted the appointment as the new Manager of Fairfield. Debbie has a tremendous rapport with the residents and staff and is brilliantly placed to manage the transition to the new building and its on-going management.”
Debbie will be managing the move to the new Fairfield home. She can be contacted at Debbie@fairfieldhome.co.uk or 01865 558413
